A Rewarding Role - In More Ways Than One

Have the chance to jump-start your new career with this fantastic opportunity to study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education while gaining on-the-job experience in this full-time role!

In this 15-month role, starting February 2023, you will have the opportunity to study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education for free AND work full-time in the industry, gaining practical, real-world experience.

This exciting opportunity is a collaboration with Bedford College, who will provide all formal Certificate III training. The training is at no cost to you and all eligible trainees will receive generous incentives of $1250 after 6 months, and another $1250 after 12 months, on top of your trainee salary.

In addition to the 2 government incentives of $1250, you will also receive a competitive hourly trainee rate plus super, 17.5% holiday leave loading and paid lunch breaks.

Our Newest Educators

An opportunity has recently become available across a number of our Early Learning Centres for Trainees who are looking to start a new career and join an organisation with strong values.

There are opportunities in our centres in Rozelle, Rockdale, Turrella, Northmead, Parramatta, and North Strathfield. All Early Childhood Trainees will need to travel to Burwood weekly for Certificate III training and assessment.

You will contribute to our program and ensure a high-quality program is provided for all our children. You will learn and support the team to ensure rooms run smoothly and in line with relevant regulations.

The core duties of this role will fall within the following areas:

• Learning through study and on-the-job training
• Educational program and practice
• Children’s health and safety
• Physical environment

You will also build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators and your team members to ensure we deliver the best outcomes for families and children.

What You'll Bring to the Team

To thrive in this role, you will be motivated to develop a career working with children and ready to commit to full-time work and study. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing your learning outside of formal training and will have strong organisation and time management skills. 

You will be compassionate and understanding of how children shape the future and be eager to help make a difference where you can. It is also essential that you possess the following:

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Valid Working with Children Check clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
• Full commitment to full-time work plus study
• First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
